His behavior undergoes a change
Once a loving partner, now he does not seem to care about your well being should tell you lots. The person who used to be concerned about you now is no longer interested to know about you says a lot about the non existent feelings for you.
He no longer makes plans
If he used to make plans for most evenings to meet up and is no longer doing it shows his fading interest. If he spends as much or more time with his friends rather than with you then you need to face the reality that he may be drifting away from you.
Goes out on his own
There are always reasons why you cannot join him for a party. 'It's a boy's night out' or 'its just people from the office' are the things he says to keep you away. There has to be a reason why he does not want you around.
He is critical of you
He does not like the way you dress, is critical of some of your habits that were endearing earlier, argues without provocation; these are the signs that he may want out as he is not happy with you anymore. If everything you do seems to be imperfect now, you need to reconsider where your relationship is heading.
You keep waiting for his call
If he was the one who called you every single day and needed no reason to get in touch and now those calls seem few and far or have stopped coming you should know he is loosing interest and does not love your anymore. He is clearly avoiding you and wants to maintain distance from you.
His friends seem distant
If you find that his friends are suddenly hesitant to talk to you it could be because he has confided in them about how he feels and his need to move on. If his friends with whom you used to hangout now do not approach you says the same thing.
He avoids serious talks
Whenever you try to have a serious talk he finds excuses to avoid the subject. Avoiding it won't help and it is better to find out about his intentions and be brave with what ever the outcome is.
